Simon Henry

Founder, Executive Director and CEO

Simon is the largest shareholder and Founder of DGL. Simon has been the CEO of DGL since 1999. He has over 35 years’ experience in industrial property development, logistics, international trading, manufacturing, and production in Australia, New Zealand and Asia-Pacific.

Tim Hosking

Independent Chair and Non-Executive Director

Tim has over 25 years’ experience providing strategic, commercial, and corporate finance advice to public and private companies in Australia, UK and North America. He has advised businesses across a wide range of industries including industrials, technology, biotech & healthcare, and financial services. Tim has previously held senior roles with Canaccord Genuity, ANZ Bank, JP Morgan, and National Mutual/AXA.

John West

Independent, Non-Executive Director

John has over 50 years’ experience in the Transport & Logistics industry. He is currently Managing Director of John West Logistics Pty Ltd, who specialise in contract logistics facilitating customer distribution centres and dedicated fleets of vehicles throughout Australia and New Zealand. In 1994 John opened his own logistics company in dangerous goods facilitation and dedicated fleet management and soon expanded nationally. John held a seat on the QR board for five years and his input continues to be sought from time to time by government and other advisory bodies or committees.

Liz Smith

Non-Executive Director

Liz has over 25 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant. She is an experienced Non-Executive Director and brings strong skills in finance and accounting, strategy, M&A, risk and governance. She currently sits on the boards of the Australian Red Cross, Pureprofile (ASX:PPL) and Nuchev (ASX: NUC). Liz has previously held corporate finance partner roles with William Buck and Grant Thornton and has audit experience at EY.
